Trash and recycle
What days are trash, recycle, yard waste and bulk collected?
Normal garbage and recycling is collected on Tuesday, yard waste is collected on Wednesday. Roll carts and yard trash can be placed on the curb after 6 pm prior to the collection day.
- Place roll carts at least 3 feet apart.
- Roll carts should be placed away from the mailbox, parked cars and low hanging tree limbs. The handles should be facing your house.
- DO NOT MIX yard trash, garbage and recyclables.
- Removal all roll carts and yard containers from the curb the same day of pickup.
- Garbage outside of the roll carts will not be picked up.
- Large or bulk items must be scheduled to be picked up by calling Waste Management at 407-836-6601 or email the department at Solid.Waste@ocfl.net.
- Large collection items cannot be more than 3 cubic yards.
- Large collection items are to placed on the curb after 6 pm prior to your scheduled pickup day.
- Material not set out properly will be tagged.
